IAPS Tomlinson Scholarships for MA Students

The Institute of Asia and Pacific Studies encourages and co-ordinates research activities relating to the Asia and Pacific region at the University of Nottingham. In line with its aim, IAPS is pleased to announce a competition for two postgraduate travel bursaries of £800 each in the academic year 2014-15.

Eligibility:

Students studying for a postgraduate Masters qualification at the University of Nottingham during the academic year 2014-15. The money is intended to fund travel related to post-graduate dissertation research on any area of the Asia and Pacific region (broadly conceived).

To Apply:

To be considered applicants must submit a 500 word proposal outlining how an IAPS travel bursary would benefit their dissertation research on the Asia Pacific region, together with 2 academic references to Carole Yates (carole.yates@nottingham.ac.uk) by 20 April 2015.

The Tomlinson Awards are offered by the Institute of Asia and Pacific Studies (IAPS), which is affiliated with the School of Politics and International Relations, and which enjoys a generous bequest from the late Sir Stanley and Lady Tomlinson.
